Darlings International is a non-governmental, not for profit voluntary organization in Ghana. The organization was established on 22nd June, 1998 with the vision to empowering women especially those in the rural and semi urban communities to fulfil their dreams.

- Darlings as it is popularly called, was duly registered with the Registrar–Generals Department under the company’s code of 1963 (ACT 179) with Registration No. CG 091372014.

- The principal focus of the organisation is to integrate the disadvantaged into the mainstream of national socio –economic development. Among others, the organisation’s activities include the provision of educational and vocational training, especially for the girl child.

- It also promotes and provides humanitarian and other social welfare services in the Central, Eastern, Northern and Greater Accra Regions of Ghana. The activities of the organization are geared towards contributing to Ghana’s efforts to achieving the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

- Currently, Darlings can boast of a Seven (7) member Board of Directors. The administrative work of the foundation is manned by a Six (6) member staff.

- First major project established in 1998. The centre was created to provide free entrepreneurial skills training for female school drops outs and teenage mothers to acquire skills to improve on their standards of living. Since its establishment, the centre has trained about 450 women who are currently engaged in meaningful enterprises in Accra, Tema, Kasoa, Swedru, etc. Institutions such as the French Embassy, Australian High Commission have played significant role in the development of the centre through infrastructural and logistical support.

The mission of the organization is to spearhead the campaign for the alleviation and total elimination of all barriers of ignorance, pain and handicapped among the vulnerable in society.
- It is also, committed to the full integration of these people especially the girlchild and women into the main functioning of the society.

- Darlings currently embarks on many activities to economically and socially empower women, children and their communities.
